Thong Nhat Ward Trade Union emulation to celebrate 97 years of tradition
Gia Lai - Thong Nhat Ward Trade Union opens a cultural and artistic contest, creating a playground for exchange, uniting union members, and celebrating the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Towards the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), the Trade Union of Thong Nhat Ward (Gia Lai) organizes the 2026 Arts and Culture Contest for workers, civil servants, and laborers with the theme "Proud of the Tradition of the Vietnam Trade Union".
The contest gathered a large number of union members from agencies, units, and businesses in the area. Despite working in many different fields, the teams all brought performances praising the glorious Party, beloved Uncle Ho, homeland, country, working class and the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Singing and dancing performances are elaborately invested, recreating the image of workers in the new era, creating a lively atmosphere, attracting enthusiastic cheers from a large number of union members, workers, civil servants and laborers.

Ms. Truong Thi My Le - Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thong Nhat Ward, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Thong Nhat Ward, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest - said that the program was organized to create a lively and practical emulation atmosphere to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 5 sub-prizes, 16 singing categories prizes, 4 dance categories prizes, 6 general prizes and 8 team prizes to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.
According to Ms. Truong Thi My Le, through 97 years of construction and development, the Vietnam Trade Union has always been a reliable support for union members and workers; a bridge between the Party, the State and the working class; constantly innovating activities to care for, represent and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
The contest is not only a practical activity to celebrate the traditional day of the Trade Union organization but also an opportunity for grassroots Trade Unions to meet, exchange, strengthen solidarity, and spread cultural and artistic movements among officials, union members and workers," Ms. Le emphasized.
Through the contest, Thong Nhat Ward Trade Union continues to ignite the cultural and artistic movement among union members and workers; creating a playground for exchange and learning, strengthening solidarity between grassroots Trade Unions, contributing to building a healthy cultural life and increasingly strong Trade Union organizations.
