Hundreds of workers receive gifts at the launching ceremony of Workers' Month
Dong Thap - At the launching ceremony of "Workers' Month", many gifts were presented, supporting the lives of hundreds of union members, workers, and laborers.
On May 8, at Tan Huong Industrial Park, Tan Huong commune, Dong Thap province, the grassroots trade union (CĐCS) of Freeview Industrial Co., Ltd. (VN) organized the Launching Ceremony of "Workers' Month - Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health" (ATVSLĐ) 2026.
Attending the program were Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Chairwoman of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap; representatives of the Company's Board of Directors and more than 120 union members and employees representing more than 21,000 employees of the enterprise.
With the theme "Vietnamese Workers: Innovation, Improving Labor Productivity" and the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health with the message "Innovating Management and Improving Occupational Safety and Health Efficiency in the Digital Age", the grassroots Trade Union of Freeview Industrial Co., Ltd. (VN) implements many practical activities to care for union members and workers.
Key activities include developing union members, introducing outstanding union members to the Party for consideration and admission; organizing the "May Dialogue" between the Board of Directors and employees; improving the quality of lunch meals; periodic health checks and thematic checks for workers working in heavy and hazardous environments. In addition, the trade union coordinates to organize cultural and sports activities; visits workers who have suffered labor accidents, occupational diseases, and are in difficult circumstances; implements the "Thank you to workers" program, supports the construction and repair of "Trade Union Homes".
The emulation movements "Good labor, high productivity", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring OSH" continue to be promoted to improve labor productivity and quality and build a safe and friendly working environment.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Vo Huu Hanh - Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union (CĐCS) of Freeview Industrial Co., Ltd. (VN), said that the CĐCS regularly requests affiliated Trade Union groups to proactively identify risks and prevent workplace accidents early, especially for female workers; and at the same time promote the movement of innovation, digital initiatives, and improve labor productivity.
At the launching ceremony, the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation awarded 13 support allowances to union members suffering from critical illnesses and labor accidents, each allowance including 2 million VND and gifts worth 500,000 VND; awarded 2 support allowances to union members in particularly difficult circumstances, each allowance 1 million VND and gifts worth 300,000 VND. The company's grassroots trade union also awarded 65 cash support allowances worth 500,000 VND/allowance and mobilized socialized sources to donate 65 portions of necessities worth 450,000 VND/portion to workers in difficult circumstances.
On this occasion, the Board of Directors of Freeview Industrial Co., Ltd. (VN) supported the construction of 1 "Trade Union Shelter" worth 60 million VND for union members with housing difficulties. The Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap also mobilized Saigon Cuu Long Hospital Joint Stock Company to award 200 free health check-up and screening packages to union members with a total value of more than 50 million VND.
