Trade Union meal in Can Tho with eye-catching menu like a restaurant

At noon on May 28, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - Chairwoman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation (LDF) and the working delegation visited, encouraged and attended the "Trade Union Meal" with officials and employees at Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company.

At the meeting, leaders of the Can Tho City Labor Federation cordially inquired about the employment situation, income, living standards and working conditions of workers. At the same time, they acknowledged and highly appreciated the business's concern in taking care of welfare and improving the quality of meals for officials and employees.

According to Mr. Vo Thanh Hung - Chairman of the Trade Union of Hau Giang Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, the company always identifies employees as an important factor in the business development process. Therefore, in addition to ensuring regimes and policies according to regulations, the unit pays special attention to the lives, health and working environment of employees.

Regarding food safety and hygiene, the company implements a very strict process of selecting catering suppliers. Bidding information is widely publicized in the media so that eligible partners can participate in submitting dossiers.

The company established an appraisal team to consider and select the best supplier. After selecting, we also directly surveyed the actual location where the unit is cooking for other businesses to assess the quality before signing the contract," Mr. Hung said.

According to representatives of the grassroots trade union, "Trade Union Meals" at Hau Giang Pharmaceutical are organized on the occasion of Workers' Month and the anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union to show gratitude and create cohesion between businesses and workers. Each meal is worth 80,000 VND/person with a diverse menu, ensuring nutrition and food safety.

Attached to the company for more than 10 years, Ms. Phan Thi Thanh Thuy said that she always feels the business's concern for workers' lives.
