Caring for and creating jobs for people with disabilities

Attached to the company thanks to good policies

Ms. N.T. P (38 years old, from Ninh Binh) is a disabled worker at TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company. In addition to congenital heart disease, Ms. P was also diagnosed with nerve weakness, very difficult to walk, and had to limp step by step.

Thanks to the company having good treatment for people with disabilities, Ms. P has been attached to the company from 2010 to now. At the company, she is given a suitable job, enjoys full benefits and policies and has a stable income, which is a motivation for her and many disabled workers to overcome difficulties and rise up in life.

To encourage disabled workers, every year, grassroots trade unions coordinate with interested businesses by donating wheelchairs, building and repairing new houses, awarding scholarships to workers' children and giving gifts of necessities... In addition, the trade union also coordinates to organize gratitude activities for the contributions of people with disabilities on Vietnam Disability Day (April 18).

Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Thanh Phu Industrial Park, Tan Trieu Ward, Dong Nai City) has nearly 400 disabled workers recruited to work, and at the same time arranges flexible job positions, suitable for the physical condition and health of each person.

Not stopping at creating jobs, disabled workers at Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. are also treated equally like other workers. From salaries, bonuses, social insurance to welfare regimes, all legitimate rights are fully and promptly guaranteed. In the past time, these workers have always had stable jobs, many people have been attached to the company for 10 to 20 years.

Organizing gratitude to disabled workers

The grassroots trade union of Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. also coordinated with the Company's Board of Directors to organize a meeting to celebrate Vietnam Disability Day for nearly 400 disabled workers with many gifts and lucky draws. At the program, Mr. Kim Si Jung, General Director of Chang Shin Vietnam Co., Ltd. shared that the business always identifies people as the core factor in sustainable development. Taking care of the material and spiritual life of workers, especially disabled workers, is always the company's responsibility and long-term commitment in the development journey.

Similarly, the grassroots Trade Union of Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Bau Xeo Industrial Park, An Vien commune, Dong Nai city) also organized a meeting program and presented gifts to 50 disabled workers in difficult circumstances working at the company on Vietnam Disability Day.

Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. has nearly 18,000 employees, including disabled workers, who are arranged for light work, suitable for their health, ensuring stable income and participating in annual welfare activities.

According to the company's grassroots trade union, this is an opportunity for the Board of Directors and the Trade Union organization to express their respect for disabled workers who are striving to work, overcome difficulties in life to contribute to the overall development of the business. At the same time, the program is also an opportunity to listen, share and encourage spirit, helping workers become more confident and attached to their work.
