Giving 132 gifts to support union members in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Workers' Month 2026
An Giang - The delegation visited and presented gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, suffering from dangerous diseases, and injured in labor accidents.
On May 25, 2 working groups led by Mr. Nguyen Nhat Tien and Mr. Pham Van Dang - Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial Labor Federation visited and presented gifts to union members and workers (NLĐ) in difficult circumstances, suffering from dangerous diseases, and suffering from labor accidents at enterprises in Rach Gia and Long Xuyen wards. This is a practical activity in response to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
The delegations visited grassroots trade unions of An Giang Construction Joint Stock Company, Loc Troi Group Joint Stock Company, An Giang Ferry Joint Stock Company, Sao Mai Group, Kim Diep Trading Co., Ltd., Kien Giang Trading Joint Stock Company, CIC Group Joint Stock Company and Kien Giang Water Supply One Member Limited Liability Company.
At the places visited, leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation cordially inquired about the employment situation, income, and living standards of union members and workers; and acknowledged the coordination of the Enterprise Board of Directors in caring for the material and spiritual lives of workers and accompanying the Trade Union organization in building harmonious and stable labor relations at the enterprise.
Leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation shared that although the gifts are not of great value, they show the concern and companionship of the Trade Union organization towards union members and workers in difficult circumstances; wishing union members and workers to continue to strive to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, feel secure in labor production, and be attached to the enterprise for a long time.
In this phase, 2 working groups of the Provincial Labor Federation presented 115 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND and 17 gifts to support union members who suffered from labor accidents and critical illnesses, each worth 1 million VND, with a total budget of 74.5 million VND.
Representatives of business leaders thanked the Trade Union organization for its concern for union members and workers; and affirmed that they will continue to closely coordinate with grassroots trade unions to better care for the material and spiritual lives of workers, creating conditions for them to feel secure in their work and attached to the business.
Speaking when the delegation visited, Mr. Tran Quoc Truong - Deputy General Director of CIC Group Joint Stock Company wished union members and employees to continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, well perform production and business tasks, well comply with the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws and the company's internal labor regulations; contributing to building stable and sustainable business development.
Responding to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026, trade union levels in the province have implemented many practical care activities for union members and workers. In which, the Provincial Labor Federation supported nearly 2,300 allowances for union members and workers in difficult circumstances, suffering from dangerous diseases, occupational diseases, and suffering from work accidents.
From the beginning of 2026 to now, the Provincial Labor Federation has cared for and supported nearly 15,000 turns of union members and workers with a total budget of nearly 15 billion VND, continuing to affirm its role in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
