Lai Chau organizes Health Day for Workers
Lai Chau - The Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) has just coordinated to organize "Workers' Health Day 2026" for union members and workers.
On May 24, Lai Chau Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with Lai Chau Provincial Urban Environment Joint Stock Company, Tam Duong Tea Development Investment Joint Stock Company, Medlatec Vietnam Co., Ltd. to organize "Workers' Health Day 2026", responding to Workers' Month and Action Month on occupational safety and health with the theme: "Proactive disease prevention - For a healthy Vietnam".
Attending were Mr. Luong Xuan Truong - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; representatives of the Board of Directors of Lai Chau Provincial Urban Environment Joint Stock Company, Tam Duong Tea Development Investment Joint Stock Company, Medlatec Vietnam Co., Ltd. and 146 union members and workers.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial Labor Federation Luong Xuan Truong mobilized employers to pay attention to improving working conditions, ensuring lunch meals, linking workers' health care with building a labor safety culture to create a safe and productive working environment.
At the same time, affirming the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting workers, contributing to reducing the burden of disease, improving the quality of human resources, and promoting sustainable development.
Immediately after the opening of the Festival, 146 union members and workers were examined and screened early for some occupational diseases by doctors at Medlatec Vietnam Co., Ltd., and consulted and guided workers to identify the risk of occupational diseases.
According to the plan, tomorrow (May 25), the Festival will continue to be held at the Large Hall of the Lai Chau Provincial Conference - Cultural Center.
