Dak Lak - The "Trade Union Shelter" houses just awarded have helped union members in difficult circumstances settle down and become warmer and happier to welcome Tet.

On February 8, the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit had just awarded funding to support the construction of "Trade Union Homes" for 3 union members in difficult circumstances in the province.

The three union members supported include Ms. Vo Thi Song (Trade Union of Cu Kuin Medical Center), Ms. Le Thi Hang (Ea H'Nin Secondary School) and Ms. Mai Thi Ut Thanh (Hoa Po Lang Kindergarten).

All 3 have low incomes, difficult family circumstances, and husbands do not have stable jobs. After considering the proposals of union members, the Provincial Labor Federation decided to support each case with 50 million VND/house, deducted from the Fund to support union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers of the Provincial Trade Union.

The remaining funding is contributed by the family and relatives to build houses with an area of 60-80m2, with a total cost of about 300-400 million VND per unit.

Sharing the joy of having a new house before Tet Nguyen Dan, Ms. Le Thi Hang said that for many years her family has always hoped for a solid home to stabilize life and raise children, but has not been able to do so due to low income.

Thanks to the timely support of the trade union organization, Tet this year has become more special for my family when we celebrate spring in the new house," Ms. Hang said emotionally.

Leaders of the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation expressed their wish that after having a new home, union members will continue to strive to rise up, successfully complete assigned tasks and make positive contributions to the development of agencies and units.
