The union presented more than 360 gifts to support workers affected by floods

On the afternoon of January 19, authorized by the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, the Ham Kiem Commune Labor Union organized the awarding of 362 support packages to union members and workers working in Ham Kiem 2 Industrial Park.

This is the second support package for workers affected by the flood that occurred in early December 2025.

The Ham Kiem Commune Labor Union was allocated a total of 364 support packages by the Provincial Labor Federation, being the unit with the largest number of union members receiving support in this period. The allocation is based on the level of property damage of each worker's family, to ensure the right subjects and actual needs.

At the Trade Union of Right Rich International Company Limited, 301 union members received support. Of which, there are 183 gifts worth 1 million VND and 118 gifts worth 500,000 VND.

The grassroots union of Thanh Vuong Shoe phu kien Company Limited has 61 union members supported, including 26 gifts of 1 million VND and 35 gifts of 500,000 VND.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Tran Duy Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, Chairman of the Ham Kiem Commune Trade Union - said that although the gifts cannot compensate for all the damage caused by natural disasters, they are a timely sharing, demonstrating the responsibility and support of the trade union organization for union members and workers.

Thereby, contributing to encouraging the spirit, helping workers soon stabilize their lives and work with peace of mind.

According to Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor, in the second phase of support for union members and workers affected by natural disasters in 2025, the whole province had 1,397 union members receiving support, with a total cost of 1 billion VND, from the support of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Previously, the Provincial Federation of Labor also completed the first phase of 1,000 support packages for union members and workers affected by floods from October 30 to November 3, 2025. The total support fund through the two phases reached 1.75 billion VND.

In the context of the approaching Lunar New Year, many workers' families are still worried about natural disasters, and the timely support from the trade union organization is meaningful.

Not only sharing material things, this is also an important source of spiritual encouragement, helping union members confidently overcome difficulties and celebrate Tet in less difficult conditions.
