The union proposed to support dozens of union members in Quang Ngai who lost their homes due to floods and storms
Quang Ngai - Dozens of union members lost their homes after the flood and storm, many of which were left empty-handed. The union is urgently supporting them to soon stabilize their lives.
The Department in charge of the Dung Quat Economic Zone Trade Union has just compiled a list and sent it to the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation to request support for 11 union members and workers who suffered heavy losses due to floods and storm No. 13.
In many cases, houses have sunk and cannot be lived in, houses have collapsed or are swept away by floodwaters. Most of the union members in distress live in mountainous communes, and their lives are still difficult.

For example, union member Ho Van Bac (32 years old) and Ms. Ho Thi Huyen (32 years old), workers at Oucanyon Furniture Company Limited (Vietnam), VSIP Quang Ngai Industrial Park. Their house was completely destroyed by a major flood on the afternoon of October 30, 2025, leaving both of them penniless and homeless.
Recently, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has donated 500 million VND to the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor to support union members and workers affected by storms No. 12 and 13. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor and grassroots unions are urgently providing support to cases affected by floods and storms.
