Trade unions join hands to support Phan Thiet ward union members after floods
Lam Dong - There have been additional support gifts from the union given to union members affected by storms and floods in December 2025.
At noon on January 16, the Phan Thiet Ward Trade Union (Lam Dong Province) organized a support handover ceremony for union members and workers affected by the second storm and flood in 2025.
The support fund is taken from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and allocated by the Provincial Labor Federation.

Accordingly, Phan Thiet ward was allocated 15 gifts, including 7 gifts worth 1 million VND and 8 gifts worth 500,000 VND.
The support level is based on the level of property damage of each family, prioritizing cases severely affected by flooding, damage to houses and household items.

Mr. Tang Minh Vien - Chairman of Phan Thiet Ward Trade Union said that immediately after receiving the support, the ward trade union urgently organized a gift giving program so that union members can promptly cover living expenses, repair houses, and stabilize their lives.
"These support packages are meaningful in sharing and encouraging the spirit, and cannot compensate for all property damage, but are the timely attention of the trade union organization for union members and workers," said Mr. Vien.
At the program, Mr. Doan Van Su - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Head of the Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union Work Committee directly presented gifts and sent his condolences, encouraged the union members to soon overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and work with peace of mind.

Previously, in the first phase (flooding from October 30 to November 3, 2025), the Phan Thiet Ward Trade Union was allocated and presented with 26 gifts to union members and workers affected.
The support is implemented promptly and to the right beneficiaries, demonstrating the accompanying role of trade union organizations at the grassroots level.
Receiving the support, union member Nguyen Phuc - Union member of the Center for Clean Water and Rural Environmental Sanitation expressed his gratitude to the union organization for caring for and supporting the family after the flood.
This is not only a material help but also a source of spiritual encouragement for me to work with peace of mind as Tet approaches.
