Overview of the traffic project connecting tourist areas in Hai Phong

By March 28, the 6.2 km route connecting Do Son tourist area with the center of Hai Phong city had reached more than 90% progress, ready to be put into use on April 30 and May 1.
The investment project to build a road from coastal roads to Van Bun junction (Do Son district, Hai Phong) is 6.2 km long with a total investment of nearly VND 960 billion. The project is expected to connect Do Son resort with the city center; create favorable conditions for western wards in Do Son district to restructure in the direction of urbanization. The route after completion will create momentum to develop trade, services and tourism activities; Attracting capital for residential land, production and business, tourism services in accordance with the content of the overall planning orientation of the socio -economic development of Do Son district until 2020, with a vision to 2025.The scale of the project is to build a new 3.38 km long road section and upgrade a 2.82 km long road section. Both sections have soft, high-altitude road surface structure A1. On the investment route, 2 bridges will be built with a technical infrastructure system at the intersection, water supply system, rainwater drainage, wastewater, technical ditches, low-voltage power, lighting, sidewalks, and synchronous trees.After nearly 4 years of implementation, the project is in the completion stage, preparing to "reach the finish line". According to Lao Dong reporter, the section from the intersection of the Bang La ward axis road (Do Son district) towards the coastal road has now completed many items such as road surface, trees, lighting.Workers are paving the sidewalk with 300x300 terrazzo tiles near the intersection with the Bang La ward axis road.The remaining section from the intersection of Bang La Axis Road towards Van Bun Intersection (Ly Thai To Street, Do Son District) has completed the paving of layer 1, the median strip.According to information from the Do Son District Construction Investment Project Management Board, by March 28, the construction package had completed about 90% of the work volume compared to the contract value. The B1 and B2 bridge items have been completed. Most sections of the route will be paved in April. Some other items such as lighting construction, tree planting, and site clearance will be completed before April 15, 2025.Despite difficulties due to scarce materials and high prices, many trucks carrying materials to other projects in Do Son district hinder the construction process, however, the Do Son District Investment and Construction Project Management Board coordinated to remove difficulties with contractors, strive to complete and put the project into use during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
