Prime Minister hands over decisions on the transfer and appointment of 8 leaders of ministries and agencies

On the afternoon of September 4, at the Government Headquarters, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a conference to announce and present the Prime Minister's decisions to receive, transfer and appoint leaders of ministries and agencies.

The conference heard the announcement and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented the Politburo's decision appointing Mr. Le Hoai Trung to join the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also presented the Prime Minister's decisions on the transfer, acceptance, and appointment of 8 leaders of a number of ministries and agencies:

Decision on receiving and appointing Mr. Le Van Loi - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to hold the position of President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences;

Receiving and appointing Mr. Vu Manh Ha - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Minister of Health;

Transfer and appoint Mr. Phan Chi Hieu - Chairman of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences to the position of Deputy Minister of Justice;

Receiving and appointing Mr. Nguyen Van Quang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee to hold the position of Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate;

The Prime Minister transferred and appointed Mr. Hoang Minh Son - Deputy Minister of Education and Training to hold the position of Chairman of the Council, Director of Hanoi National University;

Receiving and appointing Mr. Tran Hong Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Council to hold the position of Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology;

Transfer and appoint Mr. Vu Hai Quan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Council, Director of Ho Chi Minh City National University to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Minister of Science and Technology;

Transfer and appoint Mr. Le Quan - Chairman of the Council, Director of Hanoi National University to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Education and Training.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Prime Minister believes that in their new positions, the newly appointed personnel will uphold their sense of responsibility, promote their capacity, strengths, and intelligence, together with the collective leadership and the entire team of cadres to unite, unite, and " stand firm".

Thereby promoting good traditions, striving to overcome limitations and shortcomings, overcoming difficulties and challenges to excellently complete assigned tasks.

Representing the personnel who have just been accepted, transferred and appointed, Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate Nguyen Van Quang said that they will continue to strive, practice, and work with the highest sense of responsibility to fulfill assigned responsibilities.

The Permanent Deputy Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate and the newly appointed personnel hope to continue to receive the attention, leadership and direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the leaders of the Party, State and Government; the close coordination and support of leaders of ministries, branches and localities so that they can successfully complete the tasks as directed by the Prime Minister.
