Mr. Nguyen Van Trong becomes Director of the Department of Finance of Quang Ngai province
Quang Ngai - Mr. Nguyen Van Trong - Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Finance - was appointed as Director of the Department of Finance from January 10, 2026 to January 10, 2031.
On the afternoon of January 12, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang - Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province - chaired a conference to announce and present the Decision to appoint the Director of the Department of Finance.
At the conference, the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced the Decision on the appointment of Mr. Nguyen Van Trong - Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Finance - to the position of Director of the Department of Finance. The term of office is 5 years, from January 10, 2026 to January 10, 2031.
Speaking on receiving the assignment, the new Director of the Department of Finance, Nguyen Van Trong, thanked the provincial leaders for their attention and trust. At the same time, he promised to continue to make efforts, improve knowledge, unite, and work with the collective to perform well all assigned tasks. Mr. Nguyen Van Trong, born in 1975, hometown in Tinh Khe commune; qualified as a Bridge and Road Construction Engineer, Senior in political theory. Before holding the position of Director of the Department of Finance, he held the positions of Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; Director of the Department of Finance after the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance merged; Deputy Director, Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Finance when the old Quang Ngai and Kon Tum provinces merged.
