9/2 fireworks schedule in Ho Chi Minh City and a series of unmissable events
Ho Chi Minh City - On National Day September 2nd, Ho Chi Minh City will set off fireworks at 7 locations, along with many art programs, exhibitions and attractive activities serving people.
7 fireworks locations on the evening of September 2nd
On the evening of September 2nd, Ho Chi Minh City organized fireworks displays for 15 minutes, from 9pm to 11:15pm, at 7 locations. Among them, there are 3 high-altitude combined low-altitude fireworks display locations and 4 low-altitude fireworks display locations.
*3 high-altitude combined low-altitude firing points include:
1. Saigon River tunnel head area (An Khanh ward).
2. Binh Duong New City Center area (Binh Duong ward).
3. Tam Thang Tower Square area (Vung Tau ward).
* 4 low-altitude firing points include:
1. Ba Ria Square Park (Ba Ria ward).
2. Dam Sen Cultural Park (Binh Thoi ward).
3. Saigon Marina IFC tower (Saigon ward).
4. Kim Long villa area (Rach Dia bridge area, Nha Be commune).
Among the 7 points, the Saigon River tunnel head area is the largest in scale, with 1,000 high-altitude fireworks, 200 low-altitude fireworks, 60 G25 platforms and 30 DBG platforms.
Many art programs on National Day night
In addition to the fireworks display, on the evening of September 2nd, Ho Chi Minh City organized art performance programs to serve the people.
From 7:30 PM, the art program takes place in 3 areas including Nguyen Hue pedestrian street, Binh Duong New City Central Park and Ba Ria Square Park.
Art performance programs are also organized in 2 wards including: Tang Nhon Phu ward, Thoi Hoa ward; 6 communes including: Hiep Phuoc, Hoa Hoi, Kim Long, Binh Loi, Phu Giao, Dong Thanh.
Exhibitions, sports activities
In a series of commemorative activities, Ho Chi Minh City organizes city-level exhibitions from August 19th to September 5th in 3 areas including: Chi Lang Park (Saigon ward), Nguyen Du Street Park (Thu Dau Mot ward) and Revolutionary Traditional House at No. 1 Ba Cu Street (Vung Tau ward).
At the grassroots level, activities are organized at cultural houses, sports areas in residential clusters, industrial parks, community living areas... in wards, communes and special zones.
Ho Chi Minh City also organizes documents and images exhibitions at Ho Chi Minh City Book Street (Saigon ward), and also organizes running races and sports activities during this occasion.
With a series of activities spreading throughout the area, people can proactively choose suitable programs during the National Day holiday. Especially on the evening of September 2, people need to pay attention to the fireworks display time from 9pm to 9:15pm and proactively choose appropriate travel routes to avoid traffic congestion.
