Charity Fund supports union members to receive 8.4 billion VND to help workers
Quang Ngai - The Charity Fund to support union members and workers of the Provincial Trade Union has received more than 8.4 billion VND, promptly helping union members in difficult circumstances.
On August 24, the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation said that it had visited and presented financial support to Mr. Duong Van Phuoc, security guard of Kon Tum Labor Culture House (the family suffered heavy damage to houses and property due to the fire).
At the same time, they also visited Ms. Bach Thi Thao, a union member of the Trade Union of Xuan Son Processing Factory - Xuan Son Food Import-Export Co., Ltd. Branch (under Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union) who had a traffic accident and had to be hospitalized for long-term treatment.
Each union member is supported with 3 million VND, from the Charity Fund to support union members and workers of Quang Ngai Provincial Trade Union.
According to the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation, since its establishment in 2024, the Charity Fund to support union members and workers of the Quang Ngai Provincial Trade Union has received funding support from agencies, units, businesses and trade union members in the province with an amount of over 8.4 billion VND.
Through this, it has promptly supported and helped union members who were damaged by natural disasters, enemy attacks, accidents, serious illnesses, and are facing housing difficulties. This is a humanitarian activity, showing the deep concern of the Quang Ngai Provincial Trade Union for union members, civil servants and laborers in the province.
