Phu Quoc union members and workers enthusiastically participate in voluntary blood donation
An Giang - Blood Donation Day with the message "Done a drop of blood - Give life" attracts union members and workers in Phu Quoc to participate.
Responding to the 2026 Red Blood Drops Campaign, the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation in coordination with the Provincial Red Cross Society and the Branch of BIM Food Joint Stock Company in Phu Quoc organized the Voluntary Blood Donation Day. The program attracted a large number of union members and workers from grassroots trade unions and trade unions to participate.
The blood donation festival carries the meaningful message "Doning a drop of blood - Giving life", this is not only an annual humanitarian activity but has become a meeting point for kind hearts, where love and sharing are strongly spread in the community.
For many union members and workers, voluntary blood donation has become a familiar practice showing responsibility to society, in the spirit of voluntary participation. Blood donation is not only an act of saving lives but also contributes to deeply spreading the sharing of love of the people of the pearl island.
After an urgent, responsible and enthusiastic working session, the festival recorded 250 turns of union members registering and collecting 167 safe and quality blood units. All mobilized blood was transferred to the Hematology Department - Kien Giang General Hospital, promptly supplemented to the reserve blood bank to serve emergency care and treatment for patients.
