Inauguration of the Monument "Uncle Ho with Border Guards" in Dak Lak

Dak Lak - The monument "Uncle Ho with Border Guards" is carved with natural stone and water hyacinth with a total weight of about 4.5 tons and a height of 3.98m.

On May 20, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard's Traditional Day (May 23, 1975 - May 23, 2025), the Standing Working Group of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak and Phu Yen provinces held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the heroic martyrs.

The delegation also attended the inauguration ceremony of the Monument "Uncle Ho with Border Guards" at Ea H'Leo Border Guard Station (under the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command).

Attending were Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Phu Yen province and representatives of departments, branches... of the two provinces.

At the House of War Heroes and Martyrs (Se Re Phok Border Guard Station and Ea H'Leo Border Guard Station area), delegates offered incense in memory, expressing their infinite gratitude for the sacrifice of the heroic martyrs who died for the cause of building and defending the national border.

On the same day, the working group attended the inauguration ceremony of the Monument "Uncle Ho with Border soldiers" at Ea H'Leo Border Guard Station.

The work is adapted from the work "Listen to the words of the children" by author Vu Ngoc Khoi with the image of Uncle Ho kindly advising border soldiers. The total construction cost of more than 400 million VND was supported by Dak Lak Provincial Police, and Ea H'leo Border Guard Station was built.

Colonel Dao Viet Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard - emphasized: "The project has profound political and humanitarian significance. This is a place to educate historical traditions for officers, soldiers of the border guards and people of all ethnic groups in the border area.

The project also builds a cultural environment, encourages officers and soldiers to overcome difficulties and challenges, firmly protects territorial sovereignty and border security of the Fatherland".
