Cooperation between Hue City and Vientiane implemented in many fields

On January 27, Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh and leaders of departments, agencies, and branches had a working session with the high-level delegation of Vientiane Capital (Laos), led by Comrade Tha Nong Xay Khut Phay Thun, Head of the Investment Promotion and Economic Management Board of Vientiane Capital.

Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Binh was pleased to welcome the delegation, believing that the visit will strengthen the traditional friendly relations between Vietnam and Laos, especially between Hue City and Vientiane Capital.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh announced the outstanding achievements of Hue City and the plan to implement the action program to implement the Resolution of the 17th City Party Congress, towards the goal of building Hue into 4 centers: Education - training, Culture - tourism, Science - technology and specialized health.

He proposed that the two sides continue to exchange delegations, cooperate in training, support trade development and investment promotion, and encourage tourism cooperation, organize cultural exchange activities during the Hue Festival, and develop inter-route tours Hue - Central Vietnam - Vientiane.

In response, Comrade Tha Nong Xay Khut Phay Thun thanked Hue City for its welcome and expressed his desire to continue cooperation, especially in learning experiences about the Public Administrative Service Center (TTPVHCC) and building a smart city. He also emphasized the importance of strengthening exchanges and effective cooperation between the two cities.

Also at the working session, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh introduced the TTPVHCC model of Hue City, affirming the important role of the Center in improving the efficiency of administrative procedure resolution, applying information technology, and promoting digital transformation.
