Forecast of rain and thunderstorms in the North, hot sun gradually cooling down

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has provided weather forecast information nationwide for the end of this week and next week.

The Northern region from June 20 - 24 will be hot with the highest temperature around 36 - 38 degrees C. Especially from June 23 - 24, it will be intensely hot, the highest temperature is 37 - 39 degrees C, with some places above 39 degrees C.

From June 25-28, the North will have widespread showers and thunderstorms. In which, the period from June 26-27 is likely to have moderate to heavy rain in the mountainous and midland areas of the North.

The Central region in the period from June 20 - 25 will be hot and intensely sunny. The highest temperature is about 37 - 40 degrees C. From June 26 - 28, the heat in the Central region is likely to gradually decrease.

Warning level of natural disaster risk due to hot weather is level 1.

Due to the influence of hot and intense heat combined with low humidity in the air, there is a risk of fires and explosions in residential areas due to increased electricity demand and the risk of forest fires. In addition, hot weather can also cause dehydration for the human body when exposed to high temperatures for a long time.

Note that the forecast temperature in hot weather bulletins and the actual perceived temperature outside can differ from 2 - 4 degrees Celsius, and may even be higher depending on the condition of the buffer surface such as concrete and asphalt roads.

The Central Highlands and Southern regions in the period from June 20 - 23 have little rain; from June 24 - 28, thunderstorms tend to increase, with locally heavy rain.
