HCMC - After more than two years of construction, Tan Son Nhat airport's T3 terminal is 95% complete, expected to be inaugurated on April 30, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South.

Terminal T3 was built to reduce the load on Terminal T1, which is overloaded by serving more than 26 million passengers per year while the designed capacity is only 15 million. When put into operation, Terminal T3 will have a capacity of 20 million passengers/year, meeting 7,000 passengers/peak hour.
