Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee has developed an economic and social development scenario for the last 6 months of the year with a growth target of 10% or more, creating a foundation for sustainable development in the next period.

Accordingly, 102 communes and wards are required to promote investment promotion, striving to attract at least one new project. Each locality must also build at least one new economic model in fields such as night economy, digital economy, service economy or community tourism.

Immediately after the plan was implemented, many localities urgently started to implement the assigned tasks to contribute to completing the province's growth target.

In Ia Rve border commune, the locality is facing many difficulties in attracting investment and developing suitable economic models.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa - Chairman of Ia Rve Commune People's Committee - said that the commune is reviewing the clean land fund, reforming administrative procedures to create favorable conditions for businesses to invest; and at the same time coordinating to propose upgrading transport infrastructure connecting the border area with the province's economic centers.

According to Mr. Hoa, Ia Rve orients the development of models suitable to local advantages such as concentrated livestock breeding, climate-adapted fruit tree planting, small-scale renewable energy and experiential tourism associated with community culture.

The locality also prioritizes developing cooperative groups and cooperatives to link people with businesses, gradually forming sustainable production chains.

Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, many other communes and wards are also building economic models suitable to actual conditions, while promoting investment attraction, disbursement of public investment capital and implementing key projects, contributing to promoting economic growth of the province.

Effectively exploit potentials and advantages

Mr. Do Huu Huy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee - affirmed that the socio-economic development scenario for the last 6 months of the year of the province is strategic and has a long-term vision.

Dak Lak still has a lot of room for growth if localities proactively innovate thinking, be decisive in promoting investment and effectively exploit available potentials and advantages.

According to Mr. Huy, localities need to identify this as a key task to create motivation to promote economic growth, improve people's lives and increase sustainable budget revenue.

The Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee also requested departments and branches to strengthen inspection, guidance, and promptly remove difficulties for grassroots levels in the implementation process.

The Provincial People's Committee has clearly assigned specific tasks and tasks to each locality and will include the implementation results in the year-end evaluation criteria of each unit.
