Da Nang sets out a series of new requirements in security protection tasks

At the ceremony, the City Police Leadership requested the Security Force to continue to innovate thinking, improve forecasting capacity, firmly grasp the situation early, remotely, and from the grassroots level; proactively advise on solving complex security issues, not to be passive or surprised in any situation. Along with that, promote the application of science and technology, big data, and artificial intelligence to security work; build a truly clean, strong, regular, elite, and modern force.

Especially, in the context of Da Nang after the merger becoming a locality with a large development space, a new center of economy - society, a center of innovation, high technology, logistics and international trade of the Central - Central Highlands region, the task of protecting security poses new and more complex requirements.

The anniversary is also an opportunity to review the glorious traditions of the Vietnam People's Security Force in general, and the Da Nang City Police Security Force in particular; and at the same time express gratitude to generations of officers and soldiers who have contributed to maintaining national security and peace in the city.

At the ceremony, delegates watched the documentary "80 years of Da Nang Security Forces - Continuing the peaceful source", recreating the journey of building, fighting and growing up of the City Police Security Force through periods.

The commemorative speech of the leaders of Da Nang City Police emphasized that July 12, 1946 was associated with the feat of discovering the case at No. 7 On Nhu Hau Street, Hanoi - an important milestone in the history of the People's Security Forces. Over 80 years, the People's Security Forces have always been absolutely loyal to the Party, State and People; resourceful and brave, contributing to the failure of many plots and sabotage activities, maintaining national security.

With Da Nang, the City Police Security Force has continued its tradition through many historical periods, from the resistance war, national liberation, national reunification to the period of renovation, integration and development. This force is affirmed as a "steel shield", "sacred sword" in protecting the Party, government and people; contributing to maintaining a stable political environment for the city to develop.

On this occasion, the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City presented a congratulatory banner to the City Police Security Force with the content: "Promoting glorious traditions, building a truly clean, strong, regular, elite, and modern force; worthy of being a sacred sword protecting national security in the new era of the nation".

The Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee also awarded certificates of merit to 2 individuals and 8 typical collectives. ; The Director of the City Police awarded certificates of merit to 8 collectives and 94 typical individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Security Forces.
