Appointment of leaders of Quang Ninh Economic Zone Management Board
Quang Ninh - On July 31, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded decisions on personnel work at the Economic Zone Management Board and the Construction Investment Project Management Board of Region I.
Accordingly, the Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee assigned Mr. Le Van Anh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - to concurrently hold the position of Head of the Quang Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board from August 1, 2026.
At the same time, appointing Mr. and Mrs.: Truong Manh Hung (Provincial Party Committee Member, Head of Quang Ninh Economic Zone Management Board before merger), Mai Vu Tuan (Provincial Party Committee Member, Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board), Nguyen Huyen Anh (Head of Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Board of Quang Ninh province), Chau Thanh Hung and Bui Tuan Anh to hold the position of Deputy Head of Economic Zone Management Board; transferring and appointing Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Deputy Head of Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Board of Quang Ninh province - to hold the position of Deputy Director of Investment and Construction Project Management Board Area I.
The conference also announced the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on resolving early retirement according to Decree No. 154/2025/ND-CP of the Government for Mr. Pham Ngoc Vinh - Deputy Head of the Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board, from August 1, 2026.
Previously, Quang Ninh province had decisions to merge departments directly under Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, including: Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board and Quang Ninh Province Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Board into Quang Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.
After the merger, the Ha Long Bay - Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board has legal status, has its own seal and account operating in accordance with the law; is under the direct management of the Quang Ninh Economic Zone Management Board, and is also subject to professional guidance and inspection from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Vietnam National UNESCO Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies.
Meanwhile, the Quang Ninh Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center is a public non-business unit directly under the Quang Ninh Economic Zone Management Board; has legal status, has its own seal and account according to the provisions of law; is under the direct management of the Quang Ninh Economic Zone Management Board, and is also subject to professional guidance and inspection by competent authorities.
