Commending families who voluntarily donated land and refused to receive compensation in Hai Phong
Hai Phong - July 30, leaders of Hai An ward visited and praised Ms. Luong Thi Thuy's family for their voluntary land donation to serve the project in the area.
Recently, Ms. Luong Thi Thuy's family (Xam Dong residential group) voluntarily donated 131.2 m2 of perennial crop land to implement the project to upgrade and renovate the road in front of Hai An High School gate. This land plot is subject to recovery from Mr. Phung Van Mui's household (who passed away). To support the general policy, Ms. Luong Thi Thuy (Mr. Mui's wife) and her daughter proactively handed over clean land, contributing to timely solving the site clearance problem for the project.
Notably, not only voluntarily donating land and handing over the site, Ms. Thuy's family also refused to receive compensation and support funds for the land area approved according to Decision No. 1315/QD-UBND dated June 3, 2026 and requested to contribute to the state budget.
On behalf of local leaders, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Hai An ward respectfully thanked the family's noble gesture. This meaningful action not only helps accelerate the construction progress but also spreads the spirit of responsibility for the community, contributing to bringing a safe and spacious road for students and people to travel.
