Discussing the plan to merge the Departments of Health of Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces
On April 13, the Departments of Health of Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces had a working session to discuss contents related to the development of a merger project.
In the spirit of effectively implementing Resolution No. 18 of the Central Executive Committee on continuing to innovate and streamline the organization and apparatus to operate effectively and efficiently, the health sector of Lao Cai and Yen Bai provinces shared the initial results in reviewing and evaluating the current status of the health sector organization in the locality.
At the meeting, the units gave their opinions on the plan to develop a consolidation project to ensure appropriateness and professional work; Regulated and agreed the names of the units after the consolidation, to ensure inheritance, in accordance with the functions, tasks and general organizational model of the health sector.
Delegates also contributed to the organization of the apparatus within each unit; orientation of functions and tasks after the merger; Proposing a plan to arrange the team of cadres and civil servants to ensure stable organization, without major disruptions in professional activities.
At the end of the working session, the leaders of the two Departments agreed on the contents of completing the draft Merger Project to report to the leaders of the People's Committees of the two provinces for consideration and comments.
The health sector of both sides also agreed to continue exchanging information and closely coordinating during the implementation process to ensure progress, quality and suitability with the actual situation of each locality.
Contributing to building an increasingly streamlined and efficient local health system, meeting the requirements of protecting and caring for people's health in the new situation.
