Lai Chau - The locality has completed the supply of national grid electricity to 100% of villages and hamlets.
On July 16, Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee organized a conference to summarize the work of supplying national grid electricity to villages and hamlets and evaluate the results of implementing Resolution No. 09/2026/NQ-HĐND on supporting self-produced and self-consumed solar power systems and electrical equipment after the meter.

The projects have supplied electricity to 67 villages with 2,472 households, of which all 8 villages have never had grid electricity. To date, 100% of villages and hamlets in the province have used the national grid electricity.
The whole province has 105,740/107,003 households, equivalent to 98.8%, using grid electricity or self-produced and self-consumed solar power.
In parallel with expanding the power grid, the province also implements policies to support self-produced and self-consumed solar power.
After more than two months of implementation, 1,0062 households have been supported, of which 180 households have installed solar power systems and 882 households have been supported with electrical equipment after the meter.
To speed up progress, the Provincial Military Command has mobilized 189 officers and soldiers to participate in transporting materials and supporting construction in difficult areas.
Lai Chau Power Company also arranges human resources, counterpart capital and strengthens construction, contributing to completing projects on schedule.
