Establishing 2 more grassroots trade unions in Duong Kinh ward, Hai Phong

At the conference, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation announced the decision to establish the grassroots trade union of JANBASE PRECISION VIETNAM Co., Ltd.; admitted 30 union members who are union members; announced the decision to establish the Kien Thuy People's Credit Fund Trade Union with 8 union members. The City Labor Federation assigned Duong Kinh Ward Trade Union to monitor and manage 2 units.

Speaking to assign tasks, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh - Vice Chairwoman of Hai Phong City Labor Federation - requested that immediately after the grassroots trade union establishment conference, Duong Kinh Ward Trade Union guide newly established units to quickly complete regulations and develop operating programs. From there, the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union will be an important bridge between workers and businesses and trade union organizations; and at the same time be the core force in caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.

According to Duong Kinh Ward Trade Union, in Workers' Month 2026, along with focusing on caring for the lives of union members and workers as well as promoting emulation movements, the Ward Trade Union focuses on propaganda and mobilization to develop union members and establish grassroots trade unions. Thereby, establishing 3 grassroots trade unions, reaching 60% of the 2026 plan. Previously, on May 15, the unit announced the decision to establish the grassroots trade union of the Investment and Construction Project Management Board of Duong Kinh Ward, admitting 25 officials and employees of the Management Board who are members of the Vietnam Trade Union.

The unit is also reviewing and continuing to mobilize units to establish grassroots trade unions, develop union members from units that already have trade union organizations, striving to achieve and exceed the targets assigned by the City Labor Federation.
