Commune trade union in Bac Ninh announces the establishment of 5 new grassroots trade unions
Xuan Cam Commune Trade Union (Bac Ninh province) announced the establishment of 5 new grassroots trade unions with 358 union members.
On May 29, the Trade Union of Xuan Cam commune (Bac Ninh province) coordinated with the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation to organize a Conference to announce decisions to establish grassroots trade unions at 5 enterprises in Hoa Phu Industrial Park.
Attending the conference were Comrade Le Duc Tho - Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation; Comrade Hoang Cong Bo - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Xuan Cam Commune People's Council, along with local leaders, business representatives and a large number of union members and workers.
According to the announced decision, 5 grassroots trade unions were established, including: Chaofeng Vietnam Industrial Production Co., Ltd., Hanoi Electrical and Mechanical Group Joint Stock Company, A-One Timber Vietnam Production Joint Stock Company, Taechang Tech Vina Co., Ltd. and Token Sciences Co., Ltd. (Vietnam), with a total of 358 trade union members.
In which, Token Sciences Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) has the largest number of union members with 144 union members; A-One Timber Vietnam Production Joint Stock Company has 108 union members; Taechang Tech Vina Co., Ltd. has 56 union members; Hanoi Electrical and Mechanical Group Joint Stock Company has 37 union members and Chaofeng Vietnam Industrial Production Co., Ltd. has 13 union members.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Do Van Trong - Chairman of Xuan Cam Commune Trade Union said that after being consolidated according to the new organizational model, Xuan Cam Commune Trade Union is currently assigned by the Provincial Labor Federation to directly manage and direct 37 grassroots trade unions with nearly 8,000 members. The establishment of new grassroots trade unions not only contributes to expanding trade union organizations in non-state sector enterprises but also affirms the accompanying role of trade union organizations in building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at enterprises.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Le Duc Tho - Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation acknowledged and praised the efforts of Xuan Cam Commune Trade Union in propaganda and mobilization of workers to join the trade union organization; and at the same time requested new grassroots trade unions to quickly stabilize their organizations, build operating regulations, and grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers to implement practical and effective activities.
Leaders of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation also requested businesses to continue to pay attention to and create favorable conditions in terms of time, facilities and funding for grassroots trade unions to operate in accordance with their functions; strengthen dialogue at the workplace, build a safe, stable and sustainable working environment.
The conference announcing the establishment of 5 grassroots trade unions this time is considered a positive milestone in the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions in Bac Ninh, especially in the context that the trade union organization is continuing to innovate its operating methods, strongly focusing on grassroots levels, taking union members and workers as the center.
