Lao Cai establishes 3 new grassroots trade unions in enterprises
Lao Cai - The Trade Union Committee of industrial parks of the province has just established 3 grassroots trade unions, bringing the total number to 16,700 union members.
On May 27, information from the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation, the Trade Union Committee of industrial parks of the province just announced the decision to establish 3 grassroots trade unions including: Grassroots Trade Union of Nasaki Vietnam Co., Ltd., Grassroots Trade Union of Sunrise YB Joint Stock Company and Grassroots Trade Union of Super - Star Co., Ltd., with a total of nearly 300 union members (these are 3 companies in the Southern industrial park of Lao Cai province).
Implementing Project No. 02 dated December 31, 2025 of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee on propaganda and mobilization for the establishment of Party organizations and socio-political organizations in enterprises and the peak month on union member development - Workers' Month 2026, from the beginning of the year to now, the Trade Union Committee of industrial parks of the province has mobilized to admit 9 new grassroots trade unions (reaching 150% of the plan).
Newly admitted 1,005 trade union members (reaching nearly 80% of the plan), raising the total number of grassroots trade unions managed by the Board to 92 grassroots trade unions with 16,700 members.
Immediately after its establishment, the Trade Union Committee of industrial parks of Lao Cai province organized dialogues, listening to the thoughts and aspirations of union members, workers, and laborers.
The dialogue content focuses on: employment, wages, social insurance regimes, social housing, working conditions, occupational safety and health and policies for workers to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, and protect the rights of workers right from the grassroots level.
On this occasion, the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation presented 17 gifts to union members, workers, and laborers in difficult circumstances, each worth 500,000 VND, contributing to encouraging workers to strive to rise up in life, feel secure in their work, and contribute to the development of businesses and trade union organizations.
