Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward Trade Union exceeds target to establish grassroots trade union
Hanoi - In just the first 6 months of the year, the Trade Union of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward has exceeded the target of establishing grassroots trade unions for the whole year.
Accordingly, to date, the Trade Union of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward has guided and established 9 grassroots trade unions. Compared to the assigned target for the year of establishing 4 grassroots trade unions, the Trade Union of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward has exceeded the target by 225%.
Among the 9 grassroots trade unions mentioned above, 4 grassroots trade unions were established under Article 17 of the Vietnam Trade Union Law 2024 (established at the request of employees at enterprises without trade union organizations). This is an encouraging result, affirming the effectiveness of propaganda, guidance and high consensus from businesses as well as employees right before the end of the first 6 months of 2026.
The Trade Union of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward continues to promote the work of mobilizing, supporting and guiding businesses in the area to establish grassroots trade unions.
The ward trade union strives to reach 300% of the assigned target by the end of 2026, equivalent to 12 grassroots trade unions. Thereby constantly expanding the grassroots trade union network, increasing the coverage rate of trade union organizations in non-state sector enterprises.
