Lam Dong - After being allocated funds, commune and ward trade unions... have given gifts to nearly 1,900 union members in difficult circumstances and affected by natural disasters.
On May 26, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation said that after being allocated funds, commune, ward, and special zone trade unions urgently reviewed, made lists, and organized to give gifts to union members and workers who are eligible.
On the occasion of Workers' Month 2026, the whole province has 1,460 union members and workers in difficult circumstances, suffering from dangerous diseases, and suffering from labor accidents who are given support. Each gift is cash worth 500,000 VND.

Among the units allocated funds, the Xuan Huong Ward Trade Union - Da Lat received the most with 165 support slots.
According to the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, after receiving funding, grassroots trade unions have proactively reviewed the actual lives of union members, prioritizing difficult cases, prolonged illnesses or those affected by income and employment.

At the same time, 400 more union members and workers of commune and ward trade unions in the province received support for damage caused by storms and floods in the 3rd phase of 2025. The support fund is deducted from the Golden Heart Charity Fund. Each case is supported with 500,000 VND in cash, with a total budget of 200 million VND.
Ms. Tran Thi Thu Van - Chairwoman of Ham Liem Commune Trade Union said that immediately after receiving funding from 2 programs, the unit quickly organized the handover to union members and workers.
The activity aims to promptly encourage union members to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and feel secure in labor and production," Ms. Van said.

According to the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, the care for union members in difficult circumstances, suffering from serious illnesses or affected by natural disasters is always regularly concerned and implemented by trade union levels.
Through practical support programs, trade union organizations not only share immediate difficulties but also create motivation for union members and workers to feel secure in their work, stick with businesses and accompany the development of the locality.
