Exchanging with the working delegation, representatives of the grassroots Trade Union of Vinh Long Power Company reported to the delegation on the production and business situation; trade union activities and the implementation of Workers' Month, and the work of caring for the lives of officials and employees at the unit. At the same time, exchanging advantages and difficulties in operations; in which paying attention to training officials to do trade union work, supporting resources to upgrade living and rest areas for workers on duty in remote and isolated areas...

Mr. Do Duc Hung - Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union highly appreciated the activities of the grassroots Trade Union of Vinh Long Electricity Company, especially the work of caring for life, supporting Trade Union Shelters for union members and workers; paying attention to caring for workers with dangerous diseases.

In the coming time, the grassroots Trade Union of Vinh Long Power Company needs to continue to pay more attention to taking better care of the lives of workers, creating motivation for them to perform their tasks well, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality and the country. At the same time, there should be a special care regime for workers suffering from dangerous diseases..." - Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union directed.

On this occasion, the working delegation presented 1 gift and 50 million VND to the grassroots Trade Union of Vinh Long Power Company; presented 5 gifts (3.5 million VND/gift) to union members in difficult circumstances and suffering from dangerous diseases.

Towards the 72nd anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Electricity Industry (December 21, 1954 - December 21, 2026), the working delegation also presented support for 2 Trade Union Solidarity Houses for union members facing housing difficulties (Mr. Si Tuan An, working at Ngu Lac Electricity and Mr. Cao Thai Nhat, working at Tra Cu Electricity).

The construction cost of each house is about 210 million VND, of which the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union supports 60 million VND/house.
