Fire prevention and fighting skills training for workers in Ninh Binh
Ninh Binh - More than 100 officials and workers in Vu Ban commune are trained in fire prevention and fighting and rescue skills.
The Trade Union of Vu Ban commune has just coordinated with the Commune Police to organize a propaganda and training session on fire prevention and fighting and rescue skills (PCCC and CNCH) for more than 100 officials and workers of companies and businesses in the area.
At the training session, reporters from Vu Ban Commune Police disseminated basic legal regulations on fire prevention and fighting and rescue; and analyzed the causes and risks of fire and explosion commonly encountered at production and business establishments, crowded areas, and areas with many flammable and explosive goods. In particular, reporters emphasized the potential risks from electrical system incidents and unsafe gas use - which are the leading factors causing serious fires in recent times.
Along with propaganda work, functional forces have directly trained skills in handling initial situations when fires and explosions occur; guided how to use portable fire extinguishers such as powder kegs and CO2 gas cylinders.
At the same time, trainees are also guided on escape skills, rescuing people, and rescuing property in a toxic smoke environment as well as first aid techniques for victims, thereby improving their ability to respond, handle situations and reduce damage when incidents occur.
