Dien Bien - 50 union members and workers have just participated in the practical skills competition for fire prevention and fighting (PCCC) and rescue.
On the morning of May 16, at Dien Bien Provincial Stadium, 10 teams (50 people) representing grassroots trade unions competed in the practical operations part at the 2026 Provincial Trade Union's Excellent Safety and Hygiene Officer contest.
The organizers designed a match simulation model that realistically simulates the incident context and requires high professionalism.
Contest teams must handle the situation of the "Fire House" model being locked from the door with a curved bridge lock. Use specialized bolt cutters to dismantle obstacles, press the emergency fire alarm button.
Workers were equipped with toxic filter masks, proficiently using fire extinguishers and powder fire extinguishers to control and completely extinguish 3 gasoline trays that were burning fiercely.
After that, rescued and quickly moved 12 packages of property (simulated with red plastic cans containing water weighing from 10kg to 20kg) out of the dangerous area.

When facing real fire and time pressure, each member not only needs to have physical strength and skills to use fire extinguishers proficiently, but also must have firm bravery and smooth coordination.
The contest is organized to create conditions for safety and hygiene officers throughout the province to exchange, learn, and exchange experiences; improve legal knowledge and skills in handling situations of safety, occupational hygiene, fire prevention and fighting, and rescue.
