Establishment of grassroots trade unions at 100% foreign-owned enterprises in Tay Ninh

On May 29, the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Steering Committee for establishing grassroots trade unions to organize a congress to establish the grassroots trade union of Delux Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd. (Vietnam).

Delux Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) is a 100% foreign-invested enterprise from China, operating in the field of manufacturing plastic products. The enterprise is located at N16 road, Phuoc Dong Industrial Park, Gia Loc ward, Tay Ninh province.

Attending the congress were Mr. Nguyen Trong Danh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation, Deputy Head of the Provincial Industrial Park Trade Union; Mr. Liu Yun Chun - Deputy Director of Delux Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd. (Vietnam), along with representatives of the Steering Committee for establishing grassroots trade unions and a large number of workers of the enterprise.

According to the report at the congress, Delux Sanitary Ware (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. went into operation from July 2025, currently having 22 employees working. Through the process of propaganda and mobilization, all 22 employees voluntarily wrote applications to join the Vietnam Trade Union organization.

The Steering Committee for establishing grassroots trade unions said that the establishment of trade union organizations at enterprises aims to represent, care for, and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers; and at the same time contribute to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at enterprises.

At the congress, union members elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union for the 2026-2030 term, including 3 members. As a result, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Oanh was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Delux Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd. (Vietnam); Mr. Le Van Truong was elected to be in charge of inspection work.

Speaking at the congress, leaders of the Trade Union Committee of Tay Ninh Industrial Park congratulated the newly established grassroots trade union, and at the same time requested the Executive Committee to soon develop operating regulations, promote the role of representing workers, and coordinate with businesses to care for life and ensure the rights of union members and workers.

The establishment of grassroots trade unions at foreign-invested enterprises continues to contribute to expanding trade union organizations in the production sector, improving the efficiency of caring for and protecting workers in Tay Ninh province.
