Establishment of EPIC Petroleum Joint Stock Company's grassroots union, admission of 90 union members
Nghe An - Establish a grassroots trade union organization to promote the role of representing, accompanying businesses, caring for the rights and lives of workers.
On January 18, Nghe An Labor Federation announced that it had just held a Congress to establish the grassroots Trade Union of EPIC Petroleum Joint Stock Company, admitting 90 union members.
Speaking at the congress, Ms. Phan Thi Trang, Vice President of Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation, acknowledged the attention and support of business leaders in establishing grassroots unions; at the same time, she requested the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union to focus on caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of workers, coordinating to build harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
The Congress elected 3 comrades to the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union; Comrade Dang Viet Huynh, Head of the Safety Committee, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of EPIC Petroleum Joint Stock Company.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dang Viet Huynh affirmed that he will work with the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union to promote its representative role, strengthen coordination with enterprises, and contribute to improving the material and spiritual life of workers.
