On September 9, Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the unit had just coordinated with Sumec Vietnam Garment Company Limited - Nghe An Branch to organize a Congress to establish a grassroots Trade Union. The Congress admitted 133 union members and elected an Executive Committee of 5 comrades.

Sharing after being elected as Chairman of the Trade Union, Comrade Nguyen Hai Hung expressed: I am honored to be among the Trade Union cadres, and to be trusted by union members to be assigned the responsibility of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union. Chairman of Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor Kha Van Tam said that the Provincial Federation of Labor identifies developing union members and establishing grassroots unions as important tasks, so there has been a plan to implement them methodically, resolutely, assign specific tasks, and regularly urge and support when cadres and establishments have difficulties and problems.

Right from the beginning of the year, the Provincial Federation of Labor has issued a plan, directed a survey, allocated specific targets and organized a peak period of "Developing union members, establishing grassroots unions" during Workers' Month. Thanks to the strong and close direction, in the first 8 months of 2025, the whole province has established 14 new grassroots unions with 1,948 union members, including 1 informal grassroots union with 125 union members; at the same time, 11,832 new union members were admitted to units that already have union organizations.

At the same time, trade unions at all levels also focus on discovering and training outstanding union members, introducing a source of union cadres for the Party to consider admitting. As a result, in the first 8 months of the year, 1,468 groups introduced and admitted 1,175 union members to the Party.
