Nghe An - The Trade Union of Sumec Vietnam Garment Company Limited - Nghe An Branch has just been established with 133 union members.
On September 7, Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that the unit had just coordinated with Sumec Vietnam Garment Company Limited - Nghe An Branch to organize a Congress to establish a grassroots Trade Union.
Sumec Vietnam Garment Company Limited - Nghe An Branch is a 100% foreign-invested enterprise, operating in the field of export garment production.
At the congress, the Mobilization Committee reported on the process of propagating and mobilizing workers to join the trade union organization. The grassroots union was officially established with 133 union members.
The Congress also elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union consisting of 5 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Hai Hung - a worker in the production department - was elected as Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union.
