Accelerating the development of union members in Hai Phong industrial park

Continuously establishing grassroots trade unions in industrial parks

Recently, nearly 500 workers of Ce Link Hai Duong Vietnam Co., Ltd. (An Phat 1 Industrial Park) excitedly participated in the establishment ceremony of the company's grassroots trade union. Ce Link Hai Duong Vietnam Co., Ltd. has been operating stably since February 2026, specializing in manufacturing and processing electronic components, producing plastic products, mechanical processing, manufacturing spare parts and auxiliary parts for automobiles and other motor vehicles.

Immediately after the company went into stable operation, with guidance and support from the Trade Union Committee of Hai Phong City Labor Federation Industrial Park, at the end of February 2026, the Trade Union Establishment Mobilization Committee was established and proceeded to develop a plan to propagate and mobilize employees to join the Trade Union organization. Propaganda sessions were organized to each department and production workshop to help employees understand clearly about the Trade Union organization, the rights and obligations of union members as well as the role of the Trade Union in the enterprise. After propaganda, 497/497 company employees applied to join the Trade Union. Hai Phong City Labor Federation immediately afterwards signed a decision to establish the company's trade union, admitting 497 company employees who are union members.

Representatives of the grassroots trade union said that right from the time the company went into operation, the collective of employees wanted to have a Trade Union organization to represent and protect their legitimate and lawful rights and interests. The Board of Directors also considers the trade union as a reliable partner for dialogue, listening, and building harmonious and stable labor relations, so there is also a need to establish a grassroots trade union, committing to create conditions for the trade union to operate.

Previously, on the afternoon of March 13, Hai Phong City Labor Federation also announced the decision to establish the Trade Union of SUN ACOUSTIC VINA Co., Ltd. (Cong Hoa Industrial Park), recognizing 87 workers as trade union members. It is known that SUN ACOUSTIC VINA Co., Ltd. has been operating since 2023. At the end of December 2025, the Trade Union establishment mobilization committee was established and proceeded to develop a plan to propagate and mobilize workers, helping workers realize that the trade union is not only a place to protect their rights, but also a "common home" - a place to unite and arouse aspirations for development. 100% of workers who were propagated have applied to join the trade union.

Striving to develop 24,000 union members in industrial parks in 2026

According to the Trade Union Board of Hai Phong City Labor Federation Industrial Park, in 2026, the Board is assigned the target of mobilizing and developing 24,000 union members. To achieve this goal, right from the early days of the year, the Board reviewed the list of enterprises that have gone into stable operation to implement the plan to mobilize and propagate the establishment of trade unions and develop union members. In March 2026 alone, the Trade Union Board of the Industrial Park organized the announcement of the decision to establish 9 grassroots trade unions with more than 1,300 union members (7 units in the West, 2 units in the East).

The Industrial Park Trade Union also grasped the employment situation and labor recruitment needs of enterprises (according to statistics by the end of February, enterprises in industrial parks in Hai Phong have a need to recruit more than 35,000 workers). From there, deploy plans to develop new union member sources from units that have established trade unions.

Along with developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions, the Industrial Park Trade Union Board also maintains the operation of Clubs of Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of grassroots trade unions in industrial parks in the area. Clubs maintain a good living regime with practical content, bringing specific results in improving income, welfare and resolving workers' petitions.
