Cam Ly Ward - Da Lat has 24 grassroots unions, more than 2,200 union members and workers

On January 14, Ms. Lieng Hot Hong Tham - Chairman of the Cam Ly - Da Lat Ward Trade Union, Lam Dong Province, said that the Ward Trade Union had just been established by the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation.

To soon become operational, the unit has organized the announcement of the decisions of the Provincial Federation of Labor on the organization of the apparatus, including: Decision to establish Cam Ly - Da Lat Ward Trade Union; decision to appoint the Provisional Ward Trade Union Executive Committee and decision to appoint the position of Ward Trade Union Chairman.

This is an important basis for the ward union to carry out activities, and at the same time prepare conditions for organizing the 1st Cam Ly - Da Lat Ward Union Congress according to the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.

According to Ms. Tham, Cam Ly Ward Trade Union is currently assigned to manage 24 grassroots trade unions with more than 2,200 union members and workers working at agencies, units and enterprises in the area.

The Ward Trade Union Executive Committee has developed and implemented a work program, key movements and activities in 2026 in accordance with the local actual situation.

The continuous task is identified as representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests, while taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.

In particular, the trade union proactively proposes and coordinates with the government and employers to organize activities to care for the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026 in a practical and effective manner, prioritizing support for union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with the goal of "leaving no one behind".

At the same time, the work of inspecting and supervising the implementation of policies and regimes and ensuring occupational safety and hygiene is focused on.

Through these activities, the trade union promotes propaganda, develops union members, establishes grassroots trade unions and introduces outstanding union members to the Party for consideration, training and admission.

In particular, the unit focuses on propagating and disseminating important documents and instructions of the Party and State on election work; mobilizing union members and workers to actively participate in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
