Two bright stars are workers' party members in Bac Giang
On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (3/2/1930 - 2025) and the 14th National Congress of the Party, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will organize a national conference to honor 95 outstanding workers who are also members of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Bac Giang is honored to have two outstanding representatives honored on this occasion.
They are Mr. Pham Van Son (born in 1989), employee of the Technical Department, Ha Bac Garment Export Joint Stock Company (Minh Duc branch), Bich Dong town, Viet Yen town and Ms. Do Thi Hien (born in 1974), production team No. 3, Environment team, Bac Giang Urban Construction Management Joint Stock Company (Bac Giang city). These are two exemplary Party members, always completing assigned tasks excellently, not afraid to take on difficult and challenging tasks. They are also pioneers in emulation movements launched by the union and the company. In particular, both have had many initiatives and improvements in work, contributing to improving productivity and product quality, while reducing costs, bringing practical benefits to businesses.
Mr. Pham Van Son: Continuous creativity
In the manufacturing sector, Mr. Pham Van Son has proactively researched and proposed many highly applicable technical solutions, helping to optimize processes and bring great economic value. He always maintains political qualities, ideology, ethics, lifestyle, working style and good sense of discipline, ready to accept and excellently complete all assigned tasks. Not only that, he also constantly strives to learn, innovate thinking and methods to improve production efficiency, have the spirit of building a united collective, building a strong grassroots trade union organization, and be a shining example for everyone to follow.
Some of his typical initiatives are "Improving sewing, sticking noodles for the bear threshold and threshold", "Improving sewing methods", "Improving the press". During the research and implementation of the initiative, Mr. Son encountered many difficulties. He had to spend many consecutive weeks researching and analyzing the old process, while experimenting with many new methods. There were times when he felt discouraged when the experiments did not bring the expected results. However, with a spirit of perseverance and determination, Mr. Son did not give up. He continues to research and learn from his colleagues, and also refers to specialized documents. Finally, after many efforts, he found the optimal solution, helping to significantly improve the production process.
He always actively studies and follows Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, while actively participating in activities, emulation movements, culture and sports launched by the union. With his achievements, in 2023, Mr. Son was classified as a Party member who completed his tasks excellently and was awarded the Certificate of Merit for Good and Creative Workers by the Bac Giang Provincial Federation of Labor in 2018 and 2022. His motto of action is: "Solidarity, unity, great solidarity. Success, success, great success".
Ms. Do Thi Hien: Contributing to beautifying the urban area
Ms. Do Thi Hien is not only an environment worker who is dedicated to her work, but also an active woman, always ready to contribute to the community. She has made many important contributions to building the urban landscape of Bac Giang to become increasingly "bright, green, clean, and beautiful". Based on the reality of daily work, Ms. Hien realized that manual weeding on public sidewalks takes a lot of time and effort, and poses many potential risks to the safety of workers. From there, she came up with the idea of changing the working method, instead of using human resources to pick the grass, she suggested using a grass cutter (throwing with a rat). This initiative has helped increase productivity, reduce labor while still ensuring labor safety. Ms. Hien always shows political qualities, ideology, ethics, lifestyle, working style and good sense of discipline.
She is a role model, fulfilling her duties and responsibilities, and actively advising the team commanders in their operations, helping the team complete assigned tasks well. Continuously learning to improve her professional qualifications, Ms. Hien always completes the assigned tasks excellently. As a member of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, she has actively advised and proposed policies on organizing grassroots trade union activities, ensuring policies for union members and workers. She also actively participated in emulation movements launched by the Union, encouraged the women in the group to participate, and encouraged them to actively participate in cultural, artistic and sports activities organized by the Company's Union. Not only good at taking care of the country and the housework, she is also a compassionate woman. She actively participates in supporting union members of the company in difficult circumstances, having work accidents, charitable charity funds, and voluntary blood donation.
With her continuous contributions, Ms. Hien has been classified for 3 consecutive years (2020, 2021, 2022) as a Party member who has excellently completed her tasks and received many Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit from the People's Committee of Bac Giang province and the Bac Giang Provincial Federation of Labor. Notably, in 2018, she won the first Golden Broom Award for the Diamond Award from the "Golden Broom" program of Vietnam Environment Electronic Magazine.
Mr. Pham Van Son and Ms. Do Thi Hien are the bright stars that demonstrate the will to rise up and the spirit of innovation of Bac Giang workers. They are the outstanding children of their homeland, contributing to building and developing the increasingly beautiful province.
