Lam Dong - Picking up a wallet at a coffee shop, a young man proactively brought it to the commune police to ask to find the owner.
On July 18, Tan Hai Commune Police (Lam Dong province) said that they had supported the return of the wallet and all the assets inside to the person who dropped it after a resident voluntarily handed it over to find the owner.
Previously, Mr. Luong Quoc Minh (born in 1999, residing in Tan Thanh commune) picked up a wallet at a coffee shop in Tan Hai commune. Checking inside, he discovered cash and many personal papers, so he brought it to Tan Hai Commune Police to ask to find the person who dropped it.
After receiving the property, the police force checked the information, identified the owner and contacted and invited this person to the headquarters for verification according to regulations. After completing the procedures, the wallet and all assets were returned to the owner.
Receiving the property back, the person who dropped the wallet thanked Tan Hai Commune Police for their quick support, and at the same time expressed their respect for Mr. Minh's honest action when he proactively handed over the property to find the person who lost it.
According to Tan Hai Commune Police, people's proactive handover of found property and the timely coordination of functional forces have contributed to spreading the spirit of honesty, responsibility and human values in the community.
