Inauguration of 3 houses of gratitude for relatives of martyrs in An Phong ward, Hai Phong

On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), An Phong Ward People's Committee organized the inauguration and handover of support to build 3 gratitude houses for families of martyrs including Ms. Tong Thi Xay (An Hoa residential group), Mr. Luu Van Binh (Ngo Duong residential group) and Mr. Ngo Van Hung (Ha Nhuan 1 residential group).

Each family is supported with 50 million VND to build and repair houses, contributing to improving living conditions and stabilizing life. Among them, Ms. Tong Thi Xay's family is the daughter of martyr Tong Duc Van.

Previously, the house was built in 1995 and was seriously degraded. After being reviewed, dossiers of support were prepared, and with the joint efforts of local authorities, organizations, and families, the new house was completed, meeting the living needs of the family.

Visiting the families, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuan - Standing Vice Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - and leaders of An Phong ward cordially inquired about the health and life, expressed deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of heroic martyrs and families with meritorious services to the revolution. At the same time, wishing the families to continue to promote revolutionary traditions, educate the young generation to preserve and promote patriotic traditions; actively participate in emulation movements, building an increasingly developed locality.

Next, the working delegation visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Ot, whose 2 children sacrificed in the anti-American resistance war for national salvation. The delegation cordially inquired about the health and life of the Mother, expressing deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and losses of the family for the cause of national liberation.

Leaders of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee wished Mother always good health and happy life with her children and grandchildren. After the meeting, the delegation, together with Mother and her family, attended "Meaningful Meal", contributing to spreading the feelings, sharing and responsibility of the community towards people with meritorious services to the revolution.
