Lao Cai brings law and digital technology to Muong Khuong border region

On July 20 and 21, Lao Cai Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with the Department of Justice, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize a legal propaganda and foreign information program in Muong Khuong border commune, attracting a large number of ethnic minorities to participate.

The highlight of the program is the theatrical form of the provisions of the National Border Law and the Law on Marriage and Family.

Through skits close to life, people can easily access legal regulations, and at the same time clearly identify the consequences of early marriage and consanguineous marriage.

To create conditions for people to participate, the organizing committee supports travel expenses for delegates who are ethnic minorities in the area.

In addition, the Border Guard force and specialized agencies propagate and guide people to raise vigilance against crimes on the border line, identify human trafficking and smuggling tricks, and how to coordinate with functional forces in protecting border lines and landmarks.

Notably, the program deploys the "Digital Education for All" campaign, equipping people with skills to recognize forms of online fraud, use smartphones safely, protect personal information and access online public services.

Officers and soldiers directly guide people to operate on the device, making the use of technology easier and more effective.

Through the program, legal knowledge and digital skills are spread to people in border areas, contributing to raising awareness, consolidating the people's hearts and strengthening the strength to protect sovereignty and border security.
