This is a practical activity, contributing to ensuring safe blood sources, meeting the needs of emergency and treatment for patients during the summer - a time when blood shortages often occur.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Vu Thi Hien Hanh - Vice Chairwoman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee emphasized that voluntary blood donation is a noble gesture, showing the spirit of compassion, responsibility to the community and carrying profound humanistic meaning.

Each drop of blood donated not only contributes to saving patients but also spreads love, igniting faith and hope for those who need help," Ms. Hanh shared.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee called on officials, civil servants, public employees, laborers, armed forces soldiers, youth union members and people from all walks of life to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, mutual affection, and actively participate in voluntary blood donation; and at the same time mobilize relatives and friends to participate in blood donation to save people, contributing to spreading good values in the community.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, a large number of officials, union members, youth and people registered to participate in blood donation, responding to the message "Each drop of blood given - One life left behind", joining hands to bring life opportunities to many patients who need blood transfusions.
