Awarding the Creative Labor Award in the 1st Military Trade Union
Hanoi - On the morning of June 13, the Ministry of National Defense held a summary and awarded the Creative Labor Award in the Vietnam People's Army Trade Union for the first time.
Attending were General Phan Van Giang - Member of the Politburo, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense; General Nguyen Trong Nghia - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission, Head of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

The 1st Creative Labor Award in the Army Trade Union recognized and honored typical collectives and individuals with projects and solutions of high practical value, contributing to improving the quality of work, in combat readiness training and production labor.
The Award Program aims to evaluate, recognize, commend, and honor collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing and participating in the Award. Thereby encouraging and motivating the contingent of cadres, trade union members, and workers throughout the army to continue to promote study, scientific research, and confidently step into the new era, the era of national rise.
With the attention of the leaders of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the General Department of Politics, the Creative Labor Award in the Army Trade Union for the first time was awarded Certificates of Merit by the Minister of National Defense to 7 collectives and 14 individuals; The Director of the General Department of Politics awarded Certificates of Merit to 99 winning projects, including: 2 first prizes, 15 second prizes, 45 third prizes and 37 consolation prizes. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded Creative Labor Certificates to the directors of projects that won first, second, and third prizes.
At the ceremony, praising the outstanding achievements of collectives and individuals participating in the Award, General Phan Van Giang requested agencies, units, businesses and trade union organizations throughout the army to continue to thoroughly grasp the resolutions and policies of the Party, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense on developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; promote the leadership and direction role of Party committees and commanders at all levels; promote emulation movements "Good labor, creative labor" associated with the political tasks of each agency and unit.
At the same time, pay attention to building a team of cadres, trade union members, and workers with high professional qualifications, firm political bravery, innovation capacity and the ability to master modern science and technology; continue to improve the organizational mechanism, improve the quality of the Award's activities in a professional, transparent, and effective direction, creating motivation to promote the creative labor movement to develop sustainably throughout the army.
General Phan Van Giang believes that, with the foundation created from the first Award, the creative labor movement in the Army Trade Union will continue to develop strongly, becoming an important driving force to promote innovation in the entire army; contributing to building a self-reliant, self-reliant, self-strengthening, dual-use, modern national defense industry, building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern Vietnam People's Army.
