The General Confederation of Labor of China and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor give gifts to workers in 4 border provinces
4,000 gifts were jointly presented by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) and the China General Confederation of Labor to workers in 4 border provinces.
On the morning of September 19 in Lang Son, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the China General Confederation of Labor jointly organized a program to present gifts from the China General Confederation of Labor to union members and workers in the provinces of Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Quang Ninh and Lang Son.
Attending the program, on the Vietnamese side were Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; on the Chinese side were Ms. Ma Lo, Secretary of the Secretariat, Vice President of the China General Confederation of Labor and members of the working delegation.
The program gave 4,000 gifts to workers in 4 border provinces. Of which, Ha Giang has 800 quotas, Cao Bang has 800 quotas, Lang Son has 1,000 quotas and Quang Ninh has 1,400 quotas.

Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Cao Bang, Ha Giang are the four provinces that border the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China.
In recent times, there have been many good meetings and exchanges between leaders of the four provinces and leaders of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China to strengthen solidarity and cohesion between the border provinces of Vietnam and China.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Ma Lo - Secretary of the Secretariat, Vice President of the General Confederation of Labor of China - shared that Vietnam and China are two neighboring countries with mountains and rivers on the same strip, always supporting and assisting each other. The Vietnam - China Trade Union relationship is a partnership of the same spirit and mutual support.
According to Ms. Ma Lo, the General Confederation of Labor of China has sent 4,000 electric fans to workers and union members of the Vietnam - China border provinces with the meaning of bringing a cool breeze, partly eliminating hardship at work.
Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - said that the visit and gift giving of gifts to union members and workers in the four border provinces of Vietnam today is an extremely meaningful and humane activity.

"This is a practical and effective cooperation activity between the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the China General Confederation of Labor, contributing to promoting and effectively implementing the high-level common perception reached between the leaders of the two Parties and two countries in recent visits. At the same time, it will help further strengthen the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China," said Mr. Xuan.
After the gift-giving ceremony, from September 20 to 23, the delegation of the General Confederation of Labor of China will attend a welcoming program at the headquarters of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, participate in a talks program with the leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, visit and work at a number of enterprises and economic and cultural establishments in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City...
