Vietnam Trade Union attends the 6th National Congress of the Brazilian Workers' Center
The Vietnam Trade Union delegation led by Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Van Anh attended and spoke at the Congress.
The 6th National Congress of the Brazilian Workers' Union (CTB) took place from August 7-9 in Salvador ( Bahia, Brazil) with the slogan: "Solidarity and fight to change Brazil - Development goes hand in hand with democracy, national sovereignty and decent jobs".
The congress gathered more than 1,000 domestic delegates and 40 international delegates from 20 countries and territories.

The Congress discussed and decided on key contents, including: Promoting macroeconomic policies towards reducing interest rates, shortening working hours without salary reduction, reducing working hours by week; strengthening protection of workers' rights, strengthening democracy and national sovereignty; and discussing international issues such as the rise of far-rightism, global trade fluctuations, the role of BRICS and the crisis in the Gaza Strip.
Previously, the International Conference within the framework of the Congress was organized by the CTB with the theme "Challenges of multipolar geopolitics for the working class".
The Vietnam Trade Union delegation led by Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Van Anh attended and gave a congratulatory speech at the Congress, expressing the solidarity of the Vietnamese trade union and workers with the trade union movement and the Brazilian working class.
Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Van Anh also attended and presented a speech at the International Conference; at the same time, he met, exchanged information, and was able to cooperate with the CTB leadership and representatives of trade union leaders of some countries attending the Congress such as Cuba, South Africa, Ecuador, Argentina, etc.
