Chairman of Can Tho City Labor Federation directs Vinh Trinh Commune Party Congress

Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai, member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, member of the City Party Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation attended and directed the Congress.

At the Congress, the Can Tho City Party Committee appointed 27 comrades to join the Commune Party Executive Committee, term 2025 - 2030; members of the Standing Committee include 9 comrades. Mr. Doan Quoc Su was appointed to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary; 2 Deputy Secretaries are Mr. Huynh Huu Thong and Mr. Tran Xuan Phuong.

During the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee and people of Vinh Trinh commune have promoted the tradition of solidarity, made efforts to overcome many difficulties and challenges, successfully implemented 14/14 resolution targets, and successfully completed the breakthroughs.

The local economy shifted in the right direction; the fields of agriculture, industry, trade - services continued to develop. In particular, the implementation of phase 1 of Vinh Thanh Industrial Park has created new growth momentum. Annual state budget revenue exceeds the target; socio-economic infrastructure is invested in.

In her speech, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai praised the outstanding results of the locality and emphasized that Vinh Trinh has many development opportunities when adjacent to large industrial parks.

Ms. Mai suggested that the Commune Party Committee focus on key tasks such as: developing the economy in the direction of modern industry - services - agriculture; building model new rural areas associated with urbanization; improving the quality of human resources; promoting administrative reform, digital transformation in management and service to the people. Applying information technology to create a smart commune government, operating effectively, publicly, transparently and closer to the people. Build a clean and strong Party Committee; maintain national defense and security, ensure social stability.
