Can Tho Trade Union establishes 2 new grassroots trade unions

On July 29, the Can Tho City Labor Federation (CLF) held a ceremony to develop union members and launch 2 grassroots unions (CDCS). This is an event of special significance, contributing to enhancing the role of the Trade Union organization in representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.

At the ADC Limited Liability Company Trade Union with 507 employees admitted to the Trade Union, 13 comrades were elected to the Provisional Executive Committee of the Trade Union.

The Trade Union of Propysack Limited Liability Company has admitted 30 employees to the Trade Union. The Executive Committee consists of 5 comrades.

Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of the Can Tho City Labor Federation emphasized: The establishment of grassroots trade unions at enterprises is a clear demonstration of the growth of the city's Trade Union organization, especially in the series of practical activities to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025).

Can Tho City Labor Federation hopes that the Executive Board of the two new grassroots trade unions will soon develop operating regulations, coordinate effectively with business leaders to better care for union members' lives; promote patriotic emulation movements, build harmonious and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
